CottonBagExpress.com chose mainly to work with local providers, or in Europe, which allows us to avoid excessive pollution due to the shipping and receiving of goods.
The inks used are water-based inks, and printing on textiles and cotton bags are therefore done in our office in Paris.

GOTS
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) integrates all steps of textile processing: the raw fiber must be organic farming certified and all the transformation process must respect environmental and social criteria.
CE
The CE marking (in force since 1993) is the main indicator of product compliance with EU legislation and enables the free movement within the European market. By affixing the CE marking on its products, the manufacturer declares to respect all obligations for marking, and became responsible for its circulation in the European Economic Area (composed of the 27 EU Member States and three Member States of the EFTA: Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein) and Turkey. The CE marking is also planned for products. The CE marking is also made for products manufactured in third countries put into circulation in the EEA or Switzerland and Turkey.
